Akiva & Friends is a free, educational Torah-study companion. Historical and biblical sages are portrayed by AI models that answer in-character and aim to ground their teaching in real, cited sources. The sages are respectful reconstructions for learning and reflection — not the actual persons.
Answers are for study and inspiration only. Despite our best efforts to keep the sages grounded and honest, AI can make mistakes, misquote, or misunderstand. Nothing here is a substitute for a qualified rabbi, and it is not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. For a binding halachic ruling or any consequential decision, consult a competent human authority and verify against primary sources.
Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short: processing runs on hardware we own, the camera is opt-in and never records, and your transcript stays on your device.
The site design, avatars, and software are ours or our licensors'. Classical Torah texts are drawn from the public domain and scholarly sources. You may share and quote the sages' answers for personal study; please verify citations against the original sources.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. It runs on a homelab of local hardware and may occasionally be slow, offline, or under maintenance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
